Roxburgh Area

No matter the season there’s always a reason to take a walk of discovery in and around Roxburgh and the Teviot Valley. The Roxburgh area has a rich gold mining history, the remnants of which can be discovered and explored on foot. Nowadays orcharding and farming are the dominant industries in this rich and fertile valley and there are walks that showcase brilliantly the natural patchwork and seasonal colours reflected in the many thousands of fruit trees.
